Summer Classes 2022

Dance like a princess, fairy, mermaid, and unicorn as we learn dance steps, do crafts and learn a dance in each class! Mondays 5:15-6:00, ages 3-6

Learn Ballet to pop songs while stretching, turning, and leaping! We will have lots of fun while learning to dance ballet to modern day pop songs! The last class will have a mini performance for friends and family. Mondays 6:00-6:45 ages 6-9

Feel graceful, beautiful, and free in this creative ballet class. Exercise and stretch while learning classic ballet steps. This class will be tailored to beginners and those returning to the art. Mondays 6:45-7:45, ages 13 +

Join us for an Encanto themed dance extravaganza this summer! Dancers can wear Encanto inspired outfits and join in on the fun as we dance to the hit songs from our favorite Disney movie! 

ages 5-9

Wednesdays 5:30-6:15

In artsy acro we will not only improve on our acrobatic tricks and flexibility, we will also spend time at the end of each class making bracelets, working on special crafts, and embracing our inner artist! 

ages 8 and up

Time to shine! Dancers will learn the art of improvisation in both solo and group settings to a variation of dance styles.

ages 8-13

Come join in on this fun, fast paced Jazz class. Each week we will learn and work on a new high energy combination. 

ages 13 and up

This relaxing summer tap class is designed to allow everyone to work at their own pace in a supportive atmosphere where personal accomplishments are always celebrated. Those curious about tap dance will have an opportunity to explore the basics. Experienced tappers will learn new steps, work on speed, and help new students. There are a few tap exercises that will be done together as a class. Children will also be split into smaller groups (according to age and level of experience) to work on their own tap dance assignments. Steps will then be set to fun music to create a mini routine. If you already own tap shoes, please bring them. Tap shoes are not required to be purchased for this 4 week class. A hard soled shoe that stays securely on the foot is fine, as well.

Ages 6 and up 

Tuesdays 5:30-6:30 

4 Weeks- July 5, 12, 19, 26

A class designed for those that have never studied tap dance, as well as for those that need to brush up on the basics before moving into the mixed level class. Basic tap skills, steps, terminology, and technique will be introduced in a fun, supportive, and encouraging environment. Everyone will work at their own pace as a warm-up, across the floor exercises, and center combinations are explored. A variety of 80’s music will be used to keep your feet tapping! If you already own tap shoes, please bring them. Tap shoes are not required to be purchased for this 6 week class. A hard shoe that stays securely on the foot is fine, as well.

Tuesdays- 6:30-7:30 

6 Weeks- July 5, 12, 19, 26, August 2, 9

ages 18+

This class is designed for adults that have prior tap dance experience. Adults should know and be comfortable with basic tap steps such as, toe taps, shuffles, Irish (shuffle hop step), shuffle ball-change, flaps, cramp rolls, and paradiddles. In this mixed level class, everyone will be encouraged to work at their own pace as a warm-up, across the floor exercises, and center combinations are explored. A variety of music from the 70’s will be used throughout the class to keep your feet tapping! If you already own tap shoes, please bring them. Tap shoes are not required to be purchased for this 6 week class. A hard shoe that stays securely on the foot is fine, as well.
